Mobiqam appoints Marco De Sousa as new CEO

Big news! Marco De Sousa, who joined Mobiqam in 2019 as Branch Manager for the Portuguese Office in Porto, succeeds Ilja Theuwissen as CEO.

Mobiqam, manufacturer of the like-named rapid deployment security system, has appointed Porto based Marco De Sousa as its new CEO. During his career, De Sousa has helped several financial and security businesses develop and execute their growth strategies.

​​De Sousa joined Mobiqam in 2019 as Branch Manager for its Portuguese office. As of January 2021, he will succeed CEO and Founder, Ilja Theuwissen. Theuwissen, who will take on a new role within Mobiqam as Managing Partner, focusing on innovation and marketing, commented:
