The 'Jeneverfeesten' is a well-known festival in Hasselt (Belgium). Loosely translated it means Jenever or Gin Festival. Needless to say that at a festival where 25,000 litres of liquor is served to a total of 150,000 visitors, extra surveillance is a necessity. The police force of Hasselt strengthens their fixed camera network with Mobiqam® to keep an extra eye on the festivities.

PROTECTING THE LARGEST RENOVATION OF 2017

The renovation of the Philips Bridge was one of Hasselt’s (Belgium) largest renovation projects in 2017 which took one and a half year to complete. The contractor needed a safe zone to protect their heavy equipment, which they created by using Mobiqam®.
Mobiqam® was connected to the power grid so its battery functioned as 3-day UPS.

The longest bicycle tunnel in Belgium was installed in just under two days. This showcase of infrastructural engineering was captured by the Mobiqam® time-lapse functionality. Because of its long battery autonomy, the camera could be installed anywhere to get the perfect point of view. The customer chose a very high-quality PTZ camera so its position could be adjusted remotely. Thanks to the 4G connection, the customer was able to check the works while on the road.
The result is a beautiful time-lapse video that was spread throughout international media. Thanks to Mobiqam®'s USB storage, the video was rendered instantly and already online a couple of hours after the works ended.
